Dear Tree Family,

I don't usually converse with a group but I did not want to single any one of you out...because you are all so elegant and stately. Each of you are the same, yet different. Your bark is similar with distinctive markings.

As I look up to see you in your fullness I feel like I am looking into the unknown. Amazing too, are the number of branches that stretch out from each of you at your peak. You truly fill me with awe.

I love that together you have formed a circle of unity and it touches my heart.

As you tower into the sky what an incredible perspective you have on all that is around you, You know the bigger picture that is not visible to most of us. At the same time, does your height not make you a target in a storm?

Does your height reflect your years or is that the nature of who you are? Being so tall, does it limit your awareness of what is going on so far below you?  So many questions but I really want to know.

I think I could sit beneath you for a long time.

What would you say to me dear tree family I would most appreciate your wisdom and  what ever else you would like to share.

Dear Assunta,

We are glad to share with you as a group and grateful that you choose to seek out our wisdom.  Our height does not signify our years for it is the gift of who we are as Redwoods.  We do have a sense of the "big picture" and that can be one of our gifts to you and to those who ask. That same big picture, gives us the story of what is going on below us, but not in as much detail. I hear your question of whether or not the lowest parts of ourselves could clue us in to the details below and that is true. Our sight and understanding comes from all of our Being not just the peak.Just as your sight is not limited to a part of you but to all parts within your range of vision. 

Storms have found us, but we maintain a steady balance with the whole of our family here, (trees and all beings) so it is not as often as you would think. That circle of unity that you noticed is one of the reasons we can stand tall and free as their is little negative energy between and among us.

So.. our gifts to you might be...a reminder to keep looking for the big picture...stand tall and honor your own uniqueness, be mindful of the energy you put out and use that energy to build unity and oneness. And..

relax...this conversation was difficult for you today because you kept doubting what your heart was hearing. Trust, enjoy, let go. More and more of the human family are coming to know that they can share with us...so enjoy and thank you for choosing us today.

Thank you dear Trees, I was letting my head keep doubting my heart. Thank you for your beauty and wisdom and I'm so glad we are One Family.

Dear Tree,

You are amazing

with your unique and powerful shape and so many different limbs!   With all your differences, you remain balanced, and strong.  Each part of you recognizes and honors its Oneness with the other, and in so doing you grow and thrive. This Oneness expands as we also see how Mother Earth supports and holds you. She along with your Tree family give you the room and space you need to become fully you.  Your diversity of branches makes you the gift that you are. 

You powerfully represent for me what our human family can become when we honor the uniqueness of each and every ONE that makes our family WHOLE.

We in the human family are just beginning to realize what you know so deeply. We are Many and we are also One.  We are One Family with diverse and beautiful members. Thank you!
Forgive me but I also see humor in the creative arrangement of your limbs...and I love that the posture of your limbs looks very much like a dance!  You are vibrantly enjoying life!!

What would you like me to know about you dear magnificent tree?  I would love and appreciate your wisdom.

Dear Assunta,
Thank you for seeing beauty where others might see weird or strange. Our family is unique, strong and harmonious as we grow together. As you know it is not easy to be your unique self especially when you do not fit the cultural norm or vision of correctness.  Thankfully our family and extended family members appreciate and value who we are, as we are.  

Your human family is moving closer and closer to the appreciation of and the acceptance of diversity in all its unique forms. As this continues, so also will you experience the growth and expansion of your sense of family, ultimately, coming to the realization that we truly are One.

The energy of Love that ignites us all will be recognized as the sacred bond that holds us together in our Oneness.

Thank you too for seeing the humor in our uniqueness; we are who we are and humor helps us to loosen up when we start taking life too seriously.  We all have unique qualities that we might not be fully comfortable with...and laughing at ourselves helps us to lighten up and be more appreciative of the uniqueness of our entire family.  

Its nice to know that you truly do resonate with who we are, and we with you.

Dear Golden Light of Sunset..

It's been a long while since I've come to share with you and your family and I'm a little nervous. I have struggled with the truth of our sharing and not wanting to appear weird. Yet, time and time again you and so many other members of our family have shared words of wisdom and love that have both surprised me and touched my heart deeply.  So I am beginning again and I want to make these sharings a consistent and deeper part of my life. Thank you for your patience with me.

The first thing that amazes me when I see you is your beauty and warmth. You are calming in the midst of darkness!!  The darkness actually enhances your light.  I don't often think of darkness as enhancing or enriching. I all to often focus on darkness as fearful and foreboding of pain. Thank you for helping me to see with your light the beautiful side of darkness.

Thank you too for helping me to know that just because I can not see your light, does not mean that you have has gone. Being hidden is not necessarily gone!!  Wow...I need to ponder on that for a while...

First, welcome back to sharing with all your family, we've missed you and it gladdens our hearts to know you want to make being with us a deeper part of your life. In doing so, and sharing your conversations with us, you will enable others to discover that same gift for themselves and the more of you that tap into this gift the less you have to fear of being "weird".

 So glad that you are touched by the richness of my light, it's always nice to know that one's gifts are appreciated both within the human family and your Earth Family!! Thank you. As for my relationship with darkness...we need each other in order to reflect the best of who we are.  You've heard of the power of opposites.. well we are a perfect example...for with out one you can not truly appreciate the other. I'm glad too that  our being together in this photo has helped you to see "the beauty of darkness".  Too often when we focus only on one side of something...one aspect...we have a skewed view...in order to truly comprehend we need to take in as much of the whole as we can. Thus we get the bigger picture...the fuller perspective.  Light and dark have all shades of meaning...and that is a pun intended!!  Have we surprised you again Assunta..
